This 2.5-day course includes both theoretical knowledge and practical training in water sessions. The course also covers rescue techniques for handling distressed divers and responding to diving accidents.

React Right (First Aid) Course

As part of your Rescue Diver training, we strongly recommend completing the SSI React Right First Aid Course.

While the Rescue program focuses on managing diver emergencies in the water, React Right prepares you to respond confidently to medical emergencies at the surface and on land.

This internationally recognised certification includes:

• Primary assessment and structured emergency response
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training
• First Aid provider certification
• Emergency oxygen administration for diving-related injuries
• Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training

React Right significantly strengthens your emergency management skills and increases your readiness as a rescue diver.

• 4 open water rescue scenario dives

You will train in controlled environments before applying your skills at real dive sites around Koh Tao.
